The mediaeval church, the river and its equally mediaeval bridge are all less than 100 metres away, and conveniences like the Post Office, supermarket and the Tabac (newsagency-cum-coffee shop-cum-bar) are all even less distance.

Canoe hire

Tenis court hire

Canoes and a tennis court are available for hire less than 3 minutes walk away. Tennis racquets are in the cottage. Just across the bridge, on the right day, you could see, and perhaps help, the locals in a game of boules (or petanque).

There is a small market on Fridays in the village square that also contains the local bakery and butchery whose produce is fresh daily.

Most of the sights of the Dordogne and Perigord are within an hour's drive from Cubjac.

ATM withdrawal facilities are 15 minutes away at Thenon, where, on Saturday, there is also the largest and most interesting market in the area.

There are also 5 recommended restaurants within 15 minutes drive of the village. The details for these are in the cottage information folders.
