AN OFFERING FOR HOLIDAYS IN SOUTHWEST FRANCE

Ground Floor

From the front entrance turn right and go through a door and you are in the kitchen. The floor is all tiled to match the typical southern French combination of blue & yellow. The ceilings are high and a rustic blend of large old wooden beams & plasterboard in-between. The all-modern kitchen appliances, state-of-the-art washing-drying machine & door to the pantry are all to the left. Step further & down to the lounge room area with television and music system to the left, lounges centrally & desk to the right, which looks out the shuttered windows to the church square. The colourful lounge on the left is a sofa bed if required. On the sideboard in the huge old chimney recess are folders with lots of information on local sites etc. In the baskets below the sideboard are the instruction manuals for all the appliances in the house, and spare light bulbs.

Retrace your steps through the kitchen area and back to the foyer. The entrance to the cellar is in the foyer floor. On the other side of the foyer is a toilet & shower room to save the trouble of always having to go upstairs to the main bathroom.

First Floor

From the foyer you climb the wooden stairs to the first floor. All the floors are natural wood and the ceilings are high consisting again of large wooden beams with plasterboard in-between.

Turn right into the 2nd bedroom with lovely exposed stone walls. The bed is queen sized. As you leave the room you will see the entrance to the stairway to the attic on the left. Leaving the 2nd bedroom you will find the bath/toilet/shower room on the left and an open dressing area on the right, both once again with lovely exposed stone walls.

Walking further brings you to the main bedroom with more exposed stone walls. The bed is king-size and consists of two single beds fixed together, which can be separated. This room has a television and music system. This bedroom’s shuttered window looks out over the charming church square.
