Getting There
The main accesses to Perigord & Cubjac are:
- Car from Paris leaving from the Porte d’Italie onto the A6 and then onto the A10 freeways.
- Trains to Perigueux leave regularly from Paris. There are two rail routes. Trains leave from Paris-Montparnasse station and go to Bordeaux St Jean or Libourne, or they leave from Paris-Gare d’Austerlitz station and go to Limoges. A quick connection from either line is then available to Perigueux. Just outside Perigueux station to the right as you walk out of the station about 50 metres away is a Europcar office. Public transport to Cubjac and the cottage is not feasible.
- Flights to Bordeaux (Merignac), Bergerac or Brive-La-Gailliarde & hiring a car from Europcar within, or near these airports.
